I am yet to see someone who is not scared of ghosts to some degree or the other. The fear is usually due to the unknown nature of the other realm or world in which the spirits or ghosts reside. There are many types of infestations or forms in which these ghosts or demons exists. Some of the most common are Ghosts, Vampires, Demons, Witches, spirit, Werewolves and many more.
Today I am bringing to you some illustrations that are scary and creepy. These reflect the imagination of the artist, of course. These illustrations are of Vampires, Witches, and the dead. It is interesting to see how people image a world, separate from the living, where only the dead and the evil exist. So many different perceptions of ghosts and the un-dead have appeared over many years of human existence. These perceptions of the un-dead tend to of course change from society to society and from country to country depending on many factors like religion, environment, culture etc.
These illustrations bring out the fear that living beings have of the other unknown side where only the dead or the un-dead exist.
